The volleyball season begins Tuesday night. The Sauk Centre volleyball team will have a home match in the West Central Conference vs BOLD.

Legion softball 8/2/25

Legion softball final Sunday: Melrose over Belview 2-1.

In the three games at the Legion State tournament, Melrose pitcher Kaitlyn Klasen struck out 41 batters. That sets a new Legion State tournament record. Klasen was named the pitcher of the tournament. The Melrose team was also given the Sportsmanship trophy for the tournament.

Stearns County League baseball 7/20/25

Sunday finals:
Spring Hill over New Munich 10-0 in 8 innings.
Elrosa over Greenwald 8-0.

The Stearns County League playoffs continue Sunday for the teams in the North.
At noon Subday, Spring Hill will play New Munich.
At 2:30, Elrosa will play Greenwald. Both games will be played at the Elrosa field.

A good game for the Sauk Centre baseball team at Osakis on Friday, Sauk Centre won 4-3. That was the last game of the regular season, the playoffs start Tuesday.
Good pitching from Evan Zales, 12 K and just one hit. Zales also hit a home run. Eli Warring homered and had 2 hits.
