In their first game of the season, the Melrose boys basketball team picked up a win at Morris 39-33. Melrose led at half time 18-12.
Melrose had Conner Engelmeyer lead the scoring with 14 points, Gor Ruey with 12.

Sauk Centre girls basketball     12/6/22

A win at home for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team in the West Central Conference. Sauk Centre beat West Central 66-49.
Sauk Centre had Jenna Gapinski-Vogt with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Tori Jennissen with 19 and 10 rebounds, Cierra Kortan with 11.

The Melrose girls basketball team played their first home game of the year, Morris won the game 54-45. Morirs led at half 23-20.
Melrose had Ria Nelson with 15, Kaydence Bertram 14 and Paige Gruber 10.

For the first time ever, the Melrose girls swimming and diving team is the champion of Section 6A. The Melrose team took the championship Saturday in Alexandria.
