Friday night final: Urbank over New York Mills 6-5. Urbank stays alive, NYM is out.
Urbank batting in the bottom of the 9th trailing 5-4. Urbank has runners on at second and third with 2 outs. After an intentional walk, bases loaded. A bases loaded walk ties the game at 5-5. Then a fly ball to center wasn't caught, Urbank wins 6-5.

Friday night final: Urbank over Deer Creek 2-1. Urbank with a walk off 2 run home run.

The Sauk Centre Titans will play in the Region 11C playoffs Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at Perham. The Sauk Centre and Perham teams are the two unbeaten teams in the double elimination tournament. The winner of the game will advance to the State tournament. The losing team will play again Saturday afternoon.

Amateur baseball playoffs 8/2/25

Region 11C final: Sauk Centre Titans over New York Mills 4-3 in 10 innings.

Legion softball 8/2/25

Legion softball final Sunday: Melrose over Belview 2-1.

In the three games at the Legion State tournament, Melrose pitcher Kaitlyn Klasen struck out 41 batters. That sets a new Legion State tournament record. Klasen was named the pitcher of the tournament. The Melrose team was also given the Sportsmanship trophy for the tournament.

Stearns County League baseball 7/20/25

Sunday finals:
Spring Hill over New Munich 10-0 in 8 innings.
Elrosa over Greenwald 8-0.

The Stearns County League playoffs continue Sunday for the teams in the North.
At noon Subday, Spring Hill will play New Munich.
At 2:30, Elrosa will play Greenwald. Both games will be played at the Elrosa field.
