A shut out win Saturday night for the Prairie Centre boys hockey to close out the Morris/Benson Area tournament. Prairie Centre beat MBA 6-0.
Prairie Centre had Will Hoffman score 2 times, Keegan Christians, Hagen Brunkhorst, Derek Lopez and Alex Trierweiler added goals. Noah Zinniel stopped 25 shots and got the shut out.

Two wins for the Sauk Centre basketball tames at the tournament at Perham.
The Sauk Centre girls beat Fargo South 101-55.
The Sauk Centre boys beat Big Lake 80-67.
For the Sauk Centre girls, Cierra Kortan with 28 points, Kahlen Suelflow 17, Tory Jennissen 12 and Paige Determan 11.
The Sauk Centre boys had Jacob Drevlow with 29, Chad Herickhoff 21 and 23 rebounds, Noah Borgerding 15 on 5 threes.

The Melrose girls basketball team built a 10 point lead at halftime and went on to beat Concordia Academy 64-48 Thursday night at the Crusader Classic at St. Cloud Cathedral. Melrose led 32-22 at the half.
Melrose had Lex Vesel with a good shooting game with 5 threes and 22 points. Grace Herdering with 14.

The Concordia Academy boys beat Melrose 71-59. Melrose led at the half 34-32.

The Sauk Centre boys had a strong second half and went on to beat West Central 60-46 at the Sauk Centre gym Tuesday night. The game was tied 28-28 at the half.
Sauk Centre had Chad Herickhoff with 18 points, Jacob Drevlow 17, Noah Borgerding 9.

The Morris boys basketball team won at the Melrose gym 68-52. Morris led at halftime 42-31.
