A West Central Conference win for the Sauk Centre baseball team. Sauk Centre won at home over Montevideo 10-3.
Sauk Centre starter Payton Crider went 6 innings for the win with 4 strike outs.
It was a 6 run 4th inning and a 3 run 5th inning that did it for SC.
Senior catcher Ben Millard had a good game at the plate. Millard had 3 hits, 2 doubles and knocked in 4. Logan Meyer had 3 hits, Eli Fletcher 2 hits, Payton Crider a RBI hit.

A double header sweep for the Sauk Centre softball team in the West Central Conference. Sauk Centre won at home 14-4 in 5 innings in the first game. Then won game 2, 17-9.
A big day for senior Maddie Nelson. In the two games, Nelson was the winning pitcher. Nelson is now the career leader with wins for the Sauk Centre softball program. Nelson has 30 wins, passing Sheri Wolbeck. Nelson also hit 3 home runs in the double header. In the 2 games, Nelson 6-8, 3 home runs and 8 RBI.

In their first game of the season, the Melrose baseball team shut out Browerville 14-0 in 5 innings at the Melrose field Thursday afternoon.
Melrose pitcher Devin Orbeck was outstanding. Orbeck struck out 11 in 4 innings. Conner Anderson threw the last inning with 2 strike outs.

The Sauk Centre baseball team picked up a win in their first game of the year by beating Osakis 9-8 at the Sauk Centre field.
Sauk Centre had Ethan Nathe with two hits and 3 RBI. Eli Fletcher had two hits and scored 3 times. Shortstop Zac Bick had a big hit, knocking in two runs to give Sauk Centre the lead in the 6th inning. Hunter Danielson pitched 6 innings, striking out 5.
