Melrose baseball 4/5/24

A non conference win at home to begin the season for the Melrose baseball team. Melrose beat Browerville 4-1.
For Melrose, Isaac Rosenberg knocked in the first run with a hit. Westin Middendorf gave Melrose the lead with a sac fly. Max Wehlage brought home the final 2 runs with a two out hit in the 6th.
Ryan Herdering started and got the win, pitching 3 innings. Max Wehlage threw 4 innings and struck out 10.

A very good win for the Sauk Centre softball team Friday. Sauk Centre won at Pequot Lakes 6-2.
Sauk Centre had Jenna Riley pitch the 7 inning win with 3 K's. Nadia Stadvold had 2 hits and RBI. Lanna Walter had a hit and scored 2 times. Sienna Klaphake had a hit and 3 RBI.
