Defenders wrestler, senior Lanna Walter is headed back to the State wrestling tournament after winning the Section tournament with 5 straight pins at 124#.

The Sauk Centre girls will play Pelican Rapids at 10:30 Saturday morning, the Sauk Centre boys will play Pelican Rapids at noon. There will be 7 games played at the Alexandria gym. All the games will be broadcast on NSPN.TV, click here for more information about the pay per view. Since Breakdown has partnered with NSPN, MIDMNSPORTS will not be able to broadcast the games live, however, the Sauk Centre games will be recorded and shown on tape delayed on MIDMNSPORTS.

There's a change for Melrose basketball Friday night. The Osakis girls basketball team is not able to play Friday night due to illness on the team. The Melrose girls vs Osakis game has been rescheduled to Feb 12.
