Section 6AAA football playoffs 10/22/24

The Section 6AAA football playoffs will begin on Tuesday. There are 6 teams in the Section. The top 2 seeded teams will not play Tuesday, the other 4 teams will play a first round game. Higher seeded team will play at home.
Games Tuesday at 7:00.
The Sauk Centre football team will play at home vs Melrose at 7:00.
The game will be broadcast on MIDMNSPORTS with AUDIO ONLY - NO VIDEO. Also on 105.5 FM radio.

Melrose beat Rockford 28-27.
Melrose scored a touchdown late in the game, a 9 yard pass to Hudson Bitz from Riley Elfering, with 2:31 left. The two point conversion pass caught by Devin Bauer.
The Melrose defense stopped Rockford at the Melrose 17 to win the game.
