Sauk Centre Legion baseball

The Sauk Centre American Legion team won two games Sunday in their playoffs and will advance to the next round.
In the first game Sunday, Sauk Centre beat Parkers Prairie 9-5.
In the second game Sauk Centre beat Glenwood-Lowry 7-6.
Sauk Centre will advance and play in the West Central Championship tournament. Sauk Centre will play KMS Thursday night at 7:00 at the Minnewaska high school baseball field. The game Thursday will be broadcast on MIDMNSPORTS.
Win or lose Thursday, Sauk Centre will play again Saturday afternoon.

The Sauk Centre American Legion baseball team beat Wheaton 12-2 in 5 innings Saturday morning.
Sauk Centre played Royalton in the second game Saturday. The teams played into the 3rd inning when rain washed out the rest of the game.
The two teams will play Sunday morning at 10:00 in Parkers Prairie.

The Sauk Centre American Legion baseball team played another game in their playoffs. Ashby won at home over Sauk Centre 8-4.

A game away from home Monday night for the Melrose American Legion baseball team. Paynesville won the game 5-2.
Melrose took a 1-0 lead on a lead off double by Conner Anderson and then a RBI single from Westin Middendorf. The second run for Melrose came on a sac fly by Isaac Rosenberg, scoring Ryan Herdering.
