The Melrose softball team moves to 3-0 on the season with a non conference win at home over Paynesville 12-2 in 6 innings.
Melrose had Hannah Hoppe with a 4 hit game, Ellie Grieve pitched the win, striking out 7 and zero walks. Grieve also knocked in 2 runs with a double.

A double header sweep to begin the season for the Sauk Centre baseball team. Sauk Centre won at home over West Central 10-0 in 5 innings and 6-1.
In the first game, Cole Roering threw a no hitter. Hunter Dickenson pitched the win in game 2.
In the first game, Evan Zales had 2 hits, Logan Frank with 2 RBI. Hunter Broich a hit and RBI.

A couple of West Central Conference wins for the Melrose baseball team. Melrose won at home over Benson 8-0 and 14-1 in 6 innings in game two.
Isaac Rosenberger and Sam Wehlage (game 1) and Connor Anderson and Breydon Dobmeier (game 2) combined for 24 strikeouts and 0 earned runs.

A non conference win at home to begin the season for the Melrose baseball team. Melrose beat Browerville 4-1.
For Melrose, Isaac Rosenberg knocked in the first run with a hit. Westin Middendorf gave Melrose the lead with a sac fly. Max Wehlage brought home the final 2 runs with a two out hit in the 6th.
Ryan Herdering started and got the win, pitching 3 innings. Max Wehlage threw 4 innings and struck out 10.
