The volleyball season begins Tuesday in the West Central Conference. The Melrose volleyball team will go to Morris. The JV match starts at 5:45 with the varsity match at 7:15. Both matches will be broadcast on MIDMNSPORTS with a live stream. The varsity also on 105.5 FM radio. Click on live broadcast in the upper left to watch volleyball.

The cross country meet has been called off today because of the weather. It will be held tomorrow, Tuesday.

The cross country teams will compete at Morris Monday starting at 5:30. The Sauk Centre and Melrose teams will be there with many more teams.

The Melrose girls tennis team will be at home at 3:00 vs Sauk Rapids.

In American Legion baseball Monday, it was Melrose over Upsala 4-3.
Melrose had Zach Rieland with a sac fly RBI in the 6th. Sam Wehlage scored after leading off the inning with a base hit. Daniel Spanier with 2 hits and 2 RBI.
Riley Elfering went 5 innings for the win with 5 K.

The Sauk Centre Legion team won at Osakis 13-0 in 5 innings.

In Stearns County League baseball Sunday, it was Greenwald winning at Lake Henry 4-2.
Breydon Dobmeier with a 2 run home run and a sac fly RBI to give Greenwald the lead. Keegan Stueve with a RBI double.

In the championship game at the Farming tournament, it was Jordan over Sauk Centre 11-0 in 5 innings.

Sauk Centre Titans 6/7/24

The Sauk Centre Titans won their semi final game at the Farming tournament. Sauk Centre beat Sartell 6-4 Saturday.
Sauk Centre will play Jordan in the championship game Sunday at 2:00.

The Sauk Centre Titans scored 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Cold Spring Springers 5-4 at the Farming amateur baseball tournament Friday night.
Sauk Centre's Shane Trattles hit a game winning double and also pitched the 7 inning win.
