Basketball 11/30/24
It was a good Saturday afternoon for the Sauk Centre basketball teams at Belgrade Brooten Elrosa. The Sauk Centre girls won by 31 points, the boys won by 27. The Sauk Centre girls won 80-49 to go to (3-0) on the season. Sauk Centre had Cierra Kortan with 19 points, Paige Detterman 18, Elly Herickhoff 9 and 11 rebounds, Jenna Riley and Nya Thieschafer with 9 each. The Sauk Centre girls play at Benson on Tuesday.
The Sauk Centre boys beat BBE 85-58. Sauk Centre had Chad Herickhoff with 26, Jacob Drevlow 20, Jeric Schloegl 15 and Noah Borgerding 11. The Sauk Centre boys are at home on Tuesday vs Holdingford and here on MIDMNSPORTS.

The Sauk Centre girls basketball team won their second game of the season Tuesday night at home. Sauk Centre beat St. Cloud Cathedral 65-41. Sauk Centre led at the half 38-29. Sauk Centre had Cierra Kortan with 23 points with 5 threes. Elly Herickhoff 14. The team made 12 threes in the game.
It was BBE over Melrose 63-45. Melrose had Shantel Gruber with 12 points, Grace Herdering 10, Avery Braegelmann 7.
