Section 6AA softball

The Section 6AA softball tournament will begin Monday. The top 8 seeded teams will play at home. The winners will advance to Tuesday, the losing teams Monday will end their season.

The Sauk Centre softball team will be at home vs Paynesville at 5:00. The Sauk Centre game will be broadcast on MIDMNSPORTS with AUDIO ONLY - NO VIDEO. The lower seeded team between Sauk Centre and Melrose will be broadcast.

A good win for the Sauk Centre softball team Tuesday at home over Holdingford 10-3. After trailing 3-0 in the first inning, Sauk Centre scored 10 runs in the 4th inning.

Melrose baseball 5/14/24

The Melrose baseball team split their double header at home. Game 1: Montevideo wins 9-1. Game 2: Melrose wins 5-3.
In game 1, Westin Middendorf hit his second grand slam of the season. Max Wehlage threw 5 innings, 6 K. Isaac Rosenberger 2/3 RBI.

The Sauk Centre baseball team took two at BOLD Tuesday. Sauk Centre won 5-1 and 7-6.
Game 1: Evan Zales pitched the win going 7. Cole Roering with a big 2 out, 2 run hit.
Game 2: Keegan Middendorf pitched the win, going 5 in relief. Eli Warring with a 2 run single to break a 5-5 tie.
