A much needed win for the Sauk Centre boys basketball team Friday night, Sauk Centre beat ACGC 77-58 at the Sauk Centre gym. The win improves Sauk Centre to (10-9) overall and (5-4) in the West Central Conference.
The Sauk Centre boys play at Minnewaska Monday for their next game.
Sauk Centre sophomore Jake Jennissen had a big game, scoring 25 points. Casey Schirmers 13 and Cade Neubert 11.

Melrose BBB

A win away from home for the Melrose boys basketball team, Melrose won at Montevideo 58-42. Melrose is (17-2) overall and (9-0) in the West Central Conference.
The Melrose boys play again Monday night at home against Morris and here on MIDMNSPORTS.
Melrose led 32-17 at half time as Montevideo tried to slow the game down.
Melrose had Preston Keaveny with 12, Reegan Nelson, Rowan Nelson and Damon Van Beck with 8 each, Tim Arnhalt 6.

Melrose GBB

It was the best win of the season Friday night for the Melrose girls basketball team. Melrose beat BOLD 64-51 at the Melrose gym. BOLD came into the game with a record of (18-4) overall. Melrose goes to (11-10) overall.
Melrose led 31-26 at half.
Melrose had Makiya Luetmer lead the scoring with 22 points, Mia Meyer 17 points and 8 rebounds, Whitney Austing 12 and Cassie Klaphake had 11.
The Melrose girls don’t play again until next Friday when they go to Montevideo.
