It’s back into the West Central Conference for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team, Sauk Centre play at Minnewaska Friday night and here on MIDMNSPORTS. The game will also be on the radio at 105.5 FM.

PC boys hockey

It was a close one that came right down to the end, the winning goal came late in the game as Litchfield/Dassel Cokato beat the Prairie Centre Northstars 4-3 Thursday night at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena.

Prairie Centre will play Alexandria Tuesday at the Sauk Centre Arena.
Prairie Centre grabbed and early 2-0 lead on goals by Brady Miller and a power play goal from Andrew Bick. Prairie Centre tied the game at 3-3 with a third period goal by Preston Sorenson.

Melrose BBB

Two teams out of the same sub section squared off Thursday night, Melrose won at Holdingford 61-49. Melrose led by 10 at half 34-24.
Melrose goes to ACGC on Tuesday.
Two players scored well for Melrose, Reegan Nelson with 18 points, Damon Van Beck 17, both players with 5 rebounds.

A good win for the Sauk Centre boys basketball team Thursday night at home, Sauk Centre beat Osakis 67-63. Sauk Centre led at half time 30-29.
The Sauk Centre boys play at home Tuesday against Montevideo and here on MIDMNSPORTS.
A big night for Sauk Centre’s Cade Neubert, 25 points on 9/14 shooting and 19 rebounds. Casey Schimers made 4 threes and had 18 points. Jake Jennissen 8.

Two goals each by Kylee Hopp, Gabby Olson and Shelby Otte gave the Prairie Centre girls hockey team a win over Detroit Lakes 6-3 in a game played in Wadena Thursday night.
