Friday sports

Boys hockey coming up Friday night on MIDMNSPORTS, the Prairie Centre boys hockey team will play River Lakes at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena at 7:00.
Prairie Centre (0-2)  River Lakes (0-1)  St. Cloud Tech/Apollo beat River Lakes 6-0 Thursday night.

It’s a Friday night game for the Melrose girls basketball team, Melrose plays at Minnewaska in a game in the West Central Conference.

SC GBB

A West Central Conference win for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team Thursday night at the Sauk Centre gym. Sauk Centre beat BOLD 79-47 to go to (2-0) overall and (1-0) in the WCC.
The Sauk Centre girls play again Saturday at noon against Annandale in Hopkins at the Breakdown Tournament and here on MIDMNSPORTS.
Sauk Centre led at halftime 37-21 and built a bigger lead in the second half. Senior Kelsey Peschel knocked down 4 threes in the second half and led the scoring with 22 points, the two starting sophomores Tori Peschel with 13 and Julia Dammann 11points and 10 rebounds. 11 players scored for Sauk Centre.

Sauk Centre GBB

It’s the second game of the season and the first game in the West Central Conference for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team Thursday night. The Sauk Centre girls play at home against BOLD, the game will be on MIDMNSPORTS and 105.5 FM radio.
Sauk Centre is (1-0) with a 72-38 win over LPGE. BOLD is (0-1), Minneota beat BOLD 85-50.
The Sauk Centre girls team is also playing this coming Saturday against Annandale, the game will be played at noon Saturday in Hopkins as part of the Breakdown Tournament.
The Sauk Centre girls game on Saturday will be on MIDMNSPORTS.

Sauk Centre GBB

It’s the first win of the season for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team, Sauk Centre won at home Tuesday night over LPGE 72-38, Sauk Centre led 37-13 at half.
Kelsey Peschel topped the scoring with 25 points, Kenzie Schmiesing 16.
The Sauk Centre girls play at home Thursday night against BOLD and here on MIDMNSPORTS.

The Melrose girls basketball team opened up their season away from home Tuesday night, Belgrade Brooten Elrosa won the game 63-49.
The Melrose girls play at Minnewaska Friday night.

The Prairie Centre boys hockey team had their game go into overtime, Northern Lakes scored to win the game 2-1.
The Prairie Centre boys play Friday night at the Suk Centre Civic Arena against River Lakes and here on MIDMNSPORTS.

PC girls hockey

The Prairie Centre girls hockey team played Tuesday night at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena, Monud Westonka won the game 3-1.
Prairie Centre is (2-2) on the season and will play at River Lakes Friday night. Brainerd/Little Falls beat River Lakes 4-1 Tuesday.
Mound Westonka scored two power play goals in the second period. Prairie Centre’s goal came from Gabby Olson
Mound Westonka outshot Prairie Centre 32-18.

It’s girls hockey Tuesday night on MIDMNSPORTS, the Prairie Centre girls hockey team is playing Mound Westonka at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena at 7:00.
The PC girls are (2-1) on the season, Mound Westonka is (0-4-1).

It’s the first time out for the Sauk Centre girls basketball team, the SC girls play at home Tuesday night against Long Prairie Grey Eagle.

It’s also the first game for the Melrose girls basketball team, the Melrose girls play at Belgrade Brooten Elrosa. The game will be played at the Belgrade gym.
The Melrose girls game is being broadcast on 107.1 FM and you can also listen on line at
KMGK radio on line.

The Prairie Centre boys hockey team is playing Northern Lakes Tuesday night at Crosby Ironton.
