Melrose swimming

A win away from home for the Melrose girls swimming and diving team, Melrose won at Willmar 105-79.

First place finishes included Carly Feldewerd in the 200 free, Mikayla Von Wahlde in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke, Gracie Drossel in the 100 Fly and 100 Breaststroke, and Savana Bitz in the 50 and 100 Free. Melrose also won all three relays at the meet.

Sauk Centre swimming and diving

The Sauk Centre girls swimming and diving team defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 110-5 – 73.5

Melrose volleyball

Melrose goes to 2-0 in the West Central Conference by shutting out Montevideo 3-0 at the Melrose gym Tuesday night. Melrose won 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.
Melrose was solid all night, Mashaye Tschida topped the hitters with 11 kills, Mallari Funk 7, Mia Meyer and Kiana Wiechmann with 6 each. Makiya Luetmer with 32 set assists. Kelsey Fleischhacker with 11 digs.

Sauk Centre volleyball

A shut out for the Sauk Centre volleyball team Tuesday night at the Sauk Centre gym. Sauk Centre beat ACGC 3-0, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20. Sauk Centre is 2-0 in the West Central Conference and will play at Montevideo Thursday.
Other volleyball:
Holdingford over Albany 3-2, 16-14 in the fifth.
Osakis beat LPGE 3-2
Rocori over St. Cloud Tech 3-0
Maple Lake over St. Cloud Cathedral 3-1
